Body Butter Body Wrap Massage:

Experience our new Body Butter Body Wrap Massage. This 90 minute massage incorporates relaxing massage with deep healing for the skin as well. We use specially formulated body butter cream for tired or dry, cracked skin. First the skin is exfoliated with special exfoliating gloves to remove dead skin and stimulate the blood flow to the surface of the skin. Then the uniquely blended moisturizing body butter is massaged gently into the skin for a full body one hour massage. While you are wrapped in a thermal blanket snuggled warmly into the sheets a facial massage using a cooled jade roller and hand manipulations to the face is done. We use a hypoallergenic facial butter cream (facial massage can be done without the cream as well.) Any remaining body butter creame goes home with you, a fifteen dollar value! Choose between three wonderful scents. Lavender, Mint Eucalyptus or Citrus.

Swedish Massage:

The best known type of massage for relaxation.  Light to medium pressure is used with various techniques to induce relaxation and loosening of muscle tension and fatigue.  This massage helps promote enhanced lymphatic flow and an overall feeling of calm and stress reduction. Treat yourself or loved ones with a feeling of calm and serenity as you feel your muscle tension melt away.

Lymphatic Drainage:

This is a rhythmic pumping massage technique that aids in localized or full body inflammation due to injury, surgery or disease.  Some food allergies are also known to cause inflammation. There is no need to wait till swelling goes down in order to take advantage of this unique and detoxifying massage. Pressure is light and is often done above the area of swelling to help drain and reduce pressure and pain.

Myofascial Release:

Fascia is a connective tissue that surrounds all the muscles and organs of the body, it is less elastic than muscle.  Myofascial Release focuses on releasing adhesive fascia that can impede normal muscle movement and cause tightness, pain and a reduced range of motion. If you experience a deep pain and tightness with possible swelling and a pulling or pain during movement this type of massage may be right for you.

Deep Tissue:

This massage is good for muscles that have gone into spasm or for trigger points that refer intense pain.  Deep tissue is not good for muscles that may feel tight due to being overstretched and should only be used on under stretched or spastic muscles.  This massage uses several techniques to release muscle tension using higher levels of pressure than other types of massage.  It is very successful in aiding the body in breaking the pain spasm pain cycle, even when muscle relaxers and moist heat don't alleviate symptoms.


A similar technique to acupuncture except without a needle.  This can be done with finger tips the elbow or various specialized tools to apply pressure to remove stuck areas of energy.  This energy is known as Chi and flows through the body by way of set points in a pattern known as Meridians. This ancient Asian therapy was developed over 5,000 years ago. This technique is very relaxing and can be done to alleviate many energy issues such as headaches, asthma related issues or even can induce labor for mothers who are past their due date. Try adding this unique modality to your massage or just try this technique on its own. This can also be done over clothes if your not receiving other types of massage during your visit.

Capsular and Muscle Realignment:

This type of massage modality is a range of motion technique used in the hip and shoulder region primarily. This technique may or may not be used in conjunction with Active Release Techniques.  Fibers, fascia and muscle insertion and origin points within the shoulder and hip joints often become inflamed or irritated causing many issues as well as reduced range of motion, frozen shoulder syndrome and bursitis. Capsular work is aimed at these areas helping to realign muscle and reduce inflammation and scar tissue.

Sciatica Release:

Sciatica is mild to extreme pain to the sciatic nerve which can be attributed to low back compression or over tight muscles.  Sufferers do not have to wait until the sciatic event has already passed, treatment can be done during a sciatic event.  Many will receive partial or immediate release of the sciatic pain. Evaluation and consultations can be done to see if this is an ongoing issue that can be reduced or eliminated for those who experience this pain on a regular basis.
