Deep Tissue

This massage is good for muscles that have gone into spasm or for trigger points that refer intense pain.  Deep tissue is not good for muscles that may feel tight due to being overstretched and should only be used on under stretched or spastic muscles.  This massage uses several techniques to release muscle tension using higher levels of pressure than other types of massage.  It is very successful in aiding the body in breaking the pain spasm pain cycle, even when muscle relaxers and moist heat don't alleviate symptoms.
